For January 19, 2008

Hello everyone. I hope the semester ended well for you all.
  • I have some listening for you to do. Please listen as many times as you want, and then write down what you hear. Please use good spelling, grammar, and formatting. The text is one paragraph long, so you won't need to hit "return" till the end. Here is the text.
  • Also, please reply to this post and give me your English name and the address of your own blog.
    • If you use that blog for Chinese posting as well, please use a label such as "AllPass" or "English posts" so I can find the posts that are specially for our classes. Thank you!
  • Please tell about your exam experiences in your journal this week, and also post the corrected entries that you wrote and showed me last Saturday.
Thanks!!
Chris O'Brien

For January 12, 2008

Please listen to this recording carefully and write it down as a paragraph following the standard rules for written English. Please be careful to use good spelling and correct grammar. Answer is here.
Also, please remember to begin a journal or diary this week. Please write your diary on paper, and give me at least 3 entries on January 12th. I will edit your writing, and then you can post your entries into your blog, which you can start for free at www.blogspot.com.
